Douglas Young @ Heart is an active community group based at the heart of Douglas village. We were established in 2002 to help alleviate isolation and loneliness in older people from Douglas and it’s surrounding areas. Young @ Heart provides essential services, opportunities to attend social outings and a range of activities that combat social isolation.

Through participating in our events, our members realise that, regardless of ability, the experience of growing older is a joy and a privilege. We have always worked towards promoting health, well-being and a positive attitude to life in old age. We hope to achieve this goal by encouraging people to lead full lives while developing meaningful friendships.
